This comedy-drama, directed by Michael Engler, features a dysfunctional group of people who deal with an impending apocalypse. The seemingly unconnected characters include Slough bank manager Jamie, who is still mourning his missing wife after seven years, mild-mannered librarian Rhonda, who is imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit, and the Vatican's most rebellious, foul-mouthed priest, Father Jude. When it's announced that a comet is headed toward Earth, everybody's lives are turned upside down as they face their deepest fears and attempt to survive in a suburban bunker in Slough.
