The lives of a group of camp entertainers at the Crimpton-on-Sea Maplins holiday camp in 1959. Most of the entertainers are has-beens or struggling actors who do anything except concern themselves with the guests.

Episode 1The Great Cat Robbery

A cat burglar who stayed at the holiday camp dies, leaving Ted to believe his ill-gotten gains, including a priceless necklace, might be within his grasp.

Episode 2It's Murder

A dark and unusual turn for the normally jolly sitcom from Perry and Croft. The body of drunken Punch and Judy man, Mr Partridge, is discovered in the swimming pool.

Episode 3Who Killed Mr. Partridge?

Classic holiday camp sitcom. Ted, Spike and the rest of the staff must prevent the campers from learning about the death of Mr Partridge.

Episode 5A Lack of Punch

Hilarious laughs with the flamboyant gang keeping the campers happy at Maplin's. A new children's entertainer is hired to replace Mr Partridge - at long last.
