Car enthusiast Mike Brewer works alongside mechanics to give new life to rundown, classic automobiles in order to resell at a profit. Working with a limited budget, Mike's job is to find and purchase a vehicle and oversee all the necessary repairs - and usually there are plenty of them - giving tips along the way about electrics, structural issues, mechanics, cosmetic touches and finishing work. Once complete, the restored car is taken for a test drive, and then Mike negotiates the purchase price with a new owner. The first 13 seasons of `Wheeler Dealers' featured master mechanic Edd China as Brewer's sidekick.

Episode 1A Lotta Miata

Mike and Ant turn their attention to a rare 2004 MX-5 Mazdaspeed. It drives like it's strapped to a rocket, but it's noisy, leaky and in need of some cosmetic TLC.(S16,E01)

Mike and Ant welcome a zippy little 1974 Fiat X1/9 sports car to the workshop. There's hardly any rust, but big problems lurk behind the driver's seat. (S16,E09)
