Warning: Major spoilers ahead

Carrie and Aidan

Carrie and Aidan take a big step in their relationship when he takes her to Virginia to meet his three children.

But despite Aidan’s positive outlook on the milestone, Carrie is left uneasy by the less-than-warm reception she receives from Wyatt, Aidan’s 14-year-old son.

Once back in New York, the pair need to come up with a living arrangement when Che’s RMC clocks on to them living in their apartment, serving them a notice to get out.

She begrudgingly tells Che that their apartment swap is off – but means she and Aidan need to come up with a new idea as he still won’t set foot in her home.

Carrie makes the decision to put her apartment on the market again, enlisting Seema’s expertise to get things moving. She finds the perfect, four-bedroom house in Gramercy Park – a clear sign of where she sees things going with Aidan.

But Carrie is surprised when receives a call from Kathy, Aidan’s ex-wife, asking to go for coffee. When they meet up, Kathy asks Carrie to keep references of her children out of any of her future books – even if she changes their name – to protect their privacy.

During the chat, Carrie shares that she’s looking for a bigger apartment – in part to accommodate Aidan and his kids – but a protective Kathy warns Carrie to not break Aidan’s heart again.

Carrie shows Aidan round the new home she’s considering buying, prompting a conversation about where their relationship is heading. With both on the same page, Carrie takes the jump, putting her beloved apartment on the market.

For once it seems as though Carrie’s dreams might come true…

Miranda and Charlotte

Miranda is desperate for son Brady to reconsider his thoughts on not attending college and gets Charlotte’s daughter Lily to give him some words of encouragement.

Miranda heads home to shower and stumbles across a half-dressed Lily walking out of Brady’s room. As any good friend does, she’s straight on the phone to a shocked Charlotte who was under the impression that Lily would be sleeping on the couch. Charlotte refuses to believe that Lily would have hooked up with Brady as he’s ‘not her type’ – leaving Miranda offended at the insinuation.

Back home Charlotte is busy venting to an uninterested Harry and imagining all the different endings to the tryst.

Later at Harry’s event, Charlotte comes face-to-face with Brady and together with Miranda spends the evening following Lily and Brady around to see if there’s any truth to the potential tryst, but to no success.

Seema

Seema gets close to hotshot movie director, Ravi, as she tries to find him a rental property. He is finally won over by one, shortly after she gives him a very thorough tour of the bedroom (if you catch our drift).

Now an item, Ravi and Seema head on a double date with Carrie and Aidan, with Ravi impressing Aidan with his film credentials.

Lisa

Having spread herself thin between work, family and personal commitments, Lisa finds herself falling asleep at her desk at work.

Herbert gets annoyed when Lisa arrives late to his campaign party. She reveals to him that the reason for her recent exhaustion is because she’s pregnant – leaving him stumbling over his speech.

Nya

Now embracing the dating scene, Nya is making the most of dating apps – and the “benefits” that brings.

Though in all honesty, it’s more a defence mechanism, having recently seen her ex André with his pregnant girlfriend, Heidi.

Anthony

It appears love is in the air, with Anthony and Giuseppe having gone on a number of dates but Giuseppe is perturbed by the fact that, five dates in, Anthony still isn’t putting out. But Anthony is unrelenting, sending Giuseppe on his way using the excuse of Stanford’s name still being on the lease for the flat.

Anthony confesses to Carrie that he’s planning on ending things with Giuseppe as he believes he’s being used for a green card by the Italian hunk. This is disproved when Giuseppe reveals he has dual citizenship, which makes Anthony realise that his young lover might actually have genuine feelings for him.
