The crew witness a once-in-a-lifetime supernova and Q asks Janeway to have his child. (S3, ep 11)

Janeway and Neelix return from an away mission to find Voyager adrift and the crew barely alive. Viral life forms have overrun the ship and are growing in size. (S3, ep 12)

The ship encounters a region of space named the Nekrit Expanse. Neelix has no knowledge of the space beyond this point, so he calls in a favour from an old friend. (S3, ep 13)

Ensign Kim asks Tuvok to teach him Vulcan emotional control techniques when he falls in love with a holodeck character named Marayna. (S3, ep 14)
