The White Lotus hotels seem to be a magnet for trouble – just ask the body found floating outside their latest resort in Sicily.
Season two welcomed a whole different cast of holiday-makers, apart from one major recognisable face, this time complete with a bumbling assistant.
But while two husbands compete to be Alpha male in front of their wives, a family of men are here in search of their roots… among other things, while the wives are away. The locals are all-too-willing to accommodate, at a cost.
Even the hotel manager can’t escape the chaos as she’s tries to keep her staff – and her feelings for one of them in particular – in check.
Here are the key people you need to know, and who plays them.

Season Two: Sicily
Hotel Manager
Valentina
Played By: Sabrina Impacciatore (The Passion Of The Christ, Ragazzaccio)
A closeted lesbian with a hidden affection towards the hotel’s receptionist, Valentina hides her loneliness by throwing herself into her work. Desperate to be taken seriously, she often comes across as hot-tempered and harsh in her approach to her staff.
Mia
Played By: Beatrice Grannò (DOC – Nelle tue mani)
Initially introduced as an escort hired by one of the guests at the hotel, Mia has big, musical dreams, and soon finds her way to becoming the hotel bar’s pianist.
Hotel Guests
Tanya McQuoid-Hunt
Played By: Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie, The Watcher)
Now married to Greg, Tanya is no less lonely and no less entitled. Wanting to make the most of her time in Sicily, Tanya finally makes some friends with some local gays, who embrace her outlandish sense of style and manner.
Greg Hunt
Played By: Jon Gries (Get Shorty, Napoleon Dynamite)
Greg seems far from happy in his new marriage to Tanya - which is made even worse when this planned romantic trip suddenly gets a last-minute tagalong in the shape of Tanya’s young personal assistant, Portia. But it seems his plans for the holiday were more than just sun, sea and sex with his other half.
Portia
Played By: Haley Lu Richardson (Love at First Sight, Five Feet Apart)
Awkwardly dressed, awkwardly placed, and just plain awkward in life, Portia jumped at the chance to join Tanya on the trip, and quickly lived to regret it.
Wanting to make the most of the trip, she ignores Tanya’s instructions to stay in her room and decides to try and find some adventure – and maybe a little romance.
Bert Di Grasso
Played By: F. Murray Abraham (Mythic Quest, Last Action Hero)
A womaniser by nature, it doesn’t take much to understand where his son, Dominic, gets his behaviour from. Wanting to track down his family, he brings his son and grandson on a family bonding trip to Sicily with him.
Dominic Di Grasso
Played By: Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos, Goodfellas)
Dominic is a recovering sex addict whose marriage back home is hanging on by a thread. Joining the family trip to Sicily, it doesn’t take long for Dominic to turn back to old habits, with some costly consequences.

Albie Di Grasso
Played By: Adam DiMarco (The Order, The Magicians)
A recent graduate from Stanford, Albie is far more naive in the ways of women - and of life - than his father and grandfather. Unfortunately, this leaves him open to find things out the hard way during his time at The White Lotus.
Daphne Sullivan
Played By: Meghann Fahy (The Bold Type, Your Monster)
Daphne is the openly affectionate, always positive wife of Cameron. Seemingly delighted with her life as a mother to two children, she’s almost too willing to delude herself into thinking her world is perfect when it’s not, and may even have a hidden side she covers up better than her husband.
Cameron Sullivan
Played By: Theo James (The Gentlemen, Divergent)
A typical Alpha-male wannabe, Cameron reckons he can have his cake and eat it too in life. A successful businessman, his picture perfect life with wife Daphne hides his inability to stay faithful and his desire for anything - and anyone - he’s told he can’t have.
Harper Spiller
Played By: Aubrey Plaza (Emily The Criminal, Ingrid Goes West)
Harper makes no secret that she doesn’t want to be on this holiday with her husband, Ethan’s, college buddy Cameron and his wife Daphne.
Finding the pair vapid and empty, she struggles to make a connection and find her place within the group – and finds it especially hard to make nice with creepy Cameron, who seems to be a natural at placing her in uncomfortable situations.
Ethan Spiller
Played By: Will Sharpe (Girl/Haji, Flowers)
Ethan is a man who is unhappy with his life, and this is only made worse with the presence of Cameron – a man he’s clearly admired for so long he doesn’t realise that’s why he spends time around him, like it will rub off. Extremely bitter in all elements of his life, this trip serves as a constant reminder of what he wants – while being arrogantly unaware he’s got it.
Sicily Locals
Quentin
Played By: Tom Hollander (Bird Box, Pride and Prejudice)
Wealthy and dashingly charismatic, openly gay Quentin oozes charm and happily shares his riches with those around him - particularly friends Hugo (Paolo Camilli – Mascarpone) and Didier (Bruno Gouery – Emily In Paris, Doc Martin). So when he meets Tanya, it seems like a match made in camp heaven.
Jack
Played By: Leo Woodall (One Day, Citadel)
Introduced to Portia and Tanya as Quentin’s nephew, Jack appears to be a happy-go-lucky, cheeky chappy Englishmen who is happy to live off his uncle’s wealth. But beneath the surface lies something far more dark and desperate.
Lucia Greco
Played By: Simona Tabasco (Immaculate, Luna Park)
A local sex worker, Lucia is more than happy to allow her smarts to be underestimated in order to get what she wants. More than just a pretty face, Lucia plays her cards close to her chest, only allowing best friend Mia know the intricacies of her life.
