`Doctor Who' is a classic science-fiction programme with a cult following. The Doctor is called a `Time Lord', a time-travelling scientist from a far off planet, who travels through time and space in a shop known by the acronym TARDIS. A TARDIS is a machine that is larger on the inside than the outside and is supposed to change its appearance based on its surroundings. The Doctor is also able to evolve his biology, so he appears as many different people throughout the series. The Doctor loves Earth, so he makes many trips here to save the planet, or to enlist earthlings to help him with tasks in the galaxy.
Scientists go missing and the Doctor learns that the kidnapper is an alien from the past.
The Doctor discovers that the alien is a Sontaran warrior called Linx.
Linx is providing advanced weaponry to Irongron and his men.
His ship repaired, Linx prepares to take off as the Doctor races to stop history changing.

The Ice Warriors have taken control of Peladon, so the Doctor plans to defeat them.
Commander Azaxyr and his Ice Warriors are revealed as traitors, in league with Galaxy 5.
The Doctor and the miners fight to reclaim Peladon from the Ice Warriors.
The Doctor receives a mysterious package from his old companion, Jo Grant.
Planet of the Spiders: Part 2. Lupton, now under the control of a giant spider, steals the blue Metebelis crystal.
Planet of the Spiders: Part 3. Following Lupton, Sarah is accidentally transported to Metebelis 3 where she is captured.
The Doctor is in a coma and Sarah is held prisoner in the spiders' larder.
Planet of the Spiders: Part 5. Sarah makes a bargain with the Queen Spider and returns to Earth with the Doctor.
The Doctor returns to Metebelis 3 where he must face the spiders' ruler, the Great One.
