Former Royal Marine and expedition leader Bruce Parry tests the physical limits of living with ancient tribes in some of the world's most remote areas. He spends a month immersed in each society, embracing the methods and practices of his hosts. Parry takes part in rituals, hunts for and prepares his own food, and learns the basics of tribal language (although he is accompanied by a translator).
