Hoist is made leader of a mission, but he struggles with trusting his own ideas and lets others lead instead - with nearly disastrous results! (S1, ep 9)
Medix's dedication to logic comes in useful after he learns of a glitch trick in one of the computer simulations. (S1, ep 10)
The recruits worry that one of their team will be cut when they notice that there are five of them, but only four rescue bots. (S1, ep 11)
When Whirl is given a task she insists on doing it alone, but quickly discovers there is no 'I' in team! (S1, ep 12)
After blaming his teammates for a failed exercise that made him miss a cube game on Cybertron, Hot Shot attempts a rescue on his own. (S1, ep 13)
Surprise, Medix!: Medix doesn't like surprises, but the other recruits set up a surprise Medix-themed rescue mission with unsurprising disastrous results! (S1, ep 14)
The recruits train with the ultimate rescue tool, the TX3000, but Hot Shot's lack of experience using one almost botches a dangerous rescue. (S1, ep 15)
Hoist needs to spend time in his stasis pod, but can't bear to miss out on the action and keeps heading back before he has been properly fixed. (S1, ep 17)
Griffin Rock Lad Pioneer Wes wins a day at the Academy to spend with each of the Recruits in turn. However, Wedge keeps avoiding spending time with him. (S1, ep 18)
The bots are surprised to discover that their big, important, off-planet mission is actually to save a single tiny plant! (S1, ep 16)
Believing it will inspire them on their rescues, Whirl tries to teach the Recruits cheerleading routines. (S1, ep 19)
Heatwave brings back what he thinks is a sample from an asteroid, and blames the Recruits when it disappears, not realising that it is actually an alien! (S1, ep 25)
When a cute dog follows the recruits back from a mission, the recruits decide to keep him as a pet, unaware that the dog is on its own rescue mission! (S1, ep 24)
Hot Shot beats his bad luck with the help of Cody's good luck charm - a rubber ducky. (S1, ep 23)
Hot Shot gets help with his flying technique from a surprising visitor. (S1, ep 20)
When Wedge rashly challenges Hot Shot to a one-on-one challenge, he worries that he doesn't have the skills to win. (S1, ep 21)
When the Bots are given cell phones as part of Earth Studies, they become distracted and inattentive. (S1, ep 26)
When the team visit the local museum, Whirl becomes paranoid that there is a cat burglar sneaking around! (S1, ep 22)
Hoist is terrified by the Academy's new teacher, Grimlock. His friends teach him that everyone is scared of something, but courage should prevail. (S1, ep 35)
The Bots become stranded in space while making repairs on the Asgard, and so they have to figure out a daring rescue by themselves. (S1, ep 30)
At Sea: Boulder leads the class on an underwater ocean clean-up mission, but the recruits are so busy competing with each other that they get into danger! (S1, ep 27)
Hoist builds a cleaning droid to help scrub the Academy, but instead, it nearly destroys the school. (S1, ep 28)
To celebrate his first Halloween, Wedge dresses up as Bumblebee. Unfortunately, his 'heroic' behaviour backfires when the recruits respond to a fire rescue. (S1, ep 29)
The recruits go to rescue a balloon from a tree but end up on top of a rocket, a crane and even a skyscraper! (S1, ep 31)
As they tackle a fantasy simulation that pits them against a dragon, the Recruits learn that the obvious answer isn't always the right one. (S1, ep 32)
When Hot Shot replaces Chase's traffic stop simulation for his computer game, the recruits find themselves unprepared as they face giant hedgehogs. (S1, ep 37)
Chase helps Medix to loosen up a little. This leads to Medix's newfound sense of humour threatening a rescue and his value to the team. (S1, ep 38)
Alone in the Academy with a Triceratops, Hoist must overcome his fear of dinosaurs and calm the savage beast. (S1, ep 36)
The bots swap roles with the teachers to show them that learning can be fun, but their efforts backfire especially when they're called out on rescue. (S1, ep 45)
When the recruits take part in a training exercise for covert policing, Hot Shot is partnered with the least stealthy of all Rescue Bots, Grimlock. (S1, ep 39)
When the team are sent to evacuate a colony of rare penguins from an island, an approaching electrical storm begins to affect their abilities. (S1, ep 40)
Hoist uses an unfair advantage to win a search game, allowing him to choose the Old West for the next sim exercise. (S1, ep 41)
Whilst looking for some crashed pieces of a space satellite, Wedge pulls off a spectacular rescue at Dig Fest and becomes an unlikely star of the show. (S1, ep 42)
Medix mistakes a TV commercial for a real monster attack in Milford and sets off to save the city. (S1, ep 43)
When Hoist is put in charge of a new sonic fence, he can only remember its access code by creating a tune, resulting in the catchy melody endangering missions! (S1, ep 44)
On a field trip to a beautiful nature reserve, the Recruits face a swarm of metal-munching Scraplets! (S1, ep 46)
Wedge is excited when his hero, Bumblebee, visits the Academy as a guest teacher, but the young bot's attempts to impress backfire. (S1, ep 47)
Whirl struggles with a tricky manoeuvre and doubts her place on the team. To reassure her, Blades tells her about a Rescue Bot Guru who once helped him. (S1, ep 48)
When the bots go on a satellite repair mission, their carelessly discarded trash hurtles around the Earth's orbit, which grows into a huge problem! (S1, ep 49)
The recruits travel deep underwater to find an unmanned submarine, but communication errors nearly scupper the mission. (S1, ep 50)
When the dogs start behaving strangely near the Academy and Hoist is unaware that his new communications system is the problem! (S1, ep 33)
When the Rescue Bots face a simulation they can't beat, they must learn to deal with failure and focus on what's really important. (S1, ep 34)
On the eve of graduation, Hot Shot is visited by his old friend Scorch, who wants him to take part in the Cube championship final. (S1, ep 51)
