In a spin-off from the original `MasterChef' series, professional chefs undertake a weekly gauntlet of gastronomic challenges. An initial 32 ambitious working chefs compete over seven weeks for a chance at lifting the MasterChef trophy, breaking into face-off heats and opportunities to cook for some of the nation's finest restaurateurs. Each week their efforts are presided over by Michelin-starred Marcus Wareing, celebrated `MasterChef' judge, Gregg Wallace and returning chef Monica Galetti.
