`Hurricane Man' follows Josh Morgerman, one of the world's leading hurricane chasers, as he travels around the globe in pursuit of nature's biggest storms. Josh predicts where a storm will hit before racing right into the middle of it to experience and measure its effects, but as the destruction and tragic loss of life can prove, getting too close to this kind of weather can be treacherous. Josh also reports the human consequences, from sheltering families to emergency rescues that unfold around them on the ground while the storm rages. A couple of the storms Josh chases include Hurricane Florence, which devastated parts of North Carolina, and Super Typhoon Mangkhut, which battered the Philippines.
