A UK remake of the Norwegian series `Valkyrien', Sky's `Temple' follows a respected surgeon who is drawn into an underground world of bank robbers and doomsday preppers. When his wife falls ill, Daniel Milton refuses to accept her fate and starts an illicit, literal underground clinic in the tunnel network below the titular Temple tube station in London. Joined by other dysfunctional characters, Daniel attempts to stick to his moral boundaries as a surgeon, friend, and husband.
