The men of the Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue company battle the treacherous Coquihalla Highway in British Columbia. Because it is one of the most economically important, most travelled trucking routes in North America, the crew must do whatever it takes to keep the road open. Truckers face steep hills, lethal drop-offs and major rockslides. The value of the cargo and the need for urgent delivery require the rescue crew to respond when truckers get into trouble. Owner Jamie handles the bills, the employees, keeping the clients happy, and the mighty `Rotator'.

Episode 1Death On The Coq

A vicious blizzard on British Columbia's Coquihalla Highway shuts down the road as Adam battles a multi-vehicle pile-up. Meanwhile Jamie tries to free a semi from a steep, icy off-ramp.

Episode 2Where's My Rotator

A huge lumber spill leaves Jamie's crew struggling. Jamie heads to Tennessee to collect their delayed custom Rotator - a state of the art heavy rescue truck. Meanwhile Adam battles a cliffside wreck.

Episode 3It's Stormy Everywhere

Jamie has doubts about bringing his son onboard when the teen spends his pay on piercings. Kevin shows up to a wreck without the gear he needs; when confronted, he storms off the job.

Episode 4Roughing Up the Rookie

Jamie hires new driver Rob but when he turns out to be a slow learner and goes AWOL during a major blizzard, Jamie's patience is pushed to the breaking point.

Jamie isn't the only tow guy on the Coq - lone wolf Al Quiring his main rival. When the Rotator is out of action during a busy week, Al takes the opportunity to scoop a job off Jamie.

Kevin's new video-camera hobby clashes with his work, leaving Samy to shoulder most of the heavy lifting. Long-buried family wounds surface when Kevin reflects on his past. (S1 Ep9)
