British Comedy Award-winning series `Hunderby', created by BAFTA-winning writer/actress Julia Davis, follows an isolated rural village in the 1830s. With themes of romance, homosexuality and incest, the comedy takes inspiration from Austenian works and period dramas. The story's heroine, Helene, is found washed ashore after her ship wrecks, then widowed pastor Edmund sweeps her off her feet and they get married. Helene struggles in her new household, where housekeeper Dorothy deviously plots against her.
