Written, created and directed by Nida Manzoor, who described it as "an anarchic love-letter to sisterhood and inclusivity", this exuberant sitcom follows the trials, tribulations and joys of an all-female Muslim punk band: Lady Parts. Through the eyes of apparent misfit Amina Hussain, who is befriended by the band's lead singer early on, the group set out to find musical success - starting with their first proper gig - in a whirlwind of fun, laughter and genuine friendship. Meanwhile, Amina is also quietly hoping to find herself a husband somewhere along the way.
