Following the format of the titular game show, four celebrities work together as a team and answer general knowledge questions to beat The Chaser, the ruthless quiz genius tasked with stopping the contestants from winning. In the first round, the contestants answer questions individually in order to build up the team's pot. Then they work their way down a game board with The Chaser hot on their heels in order to secure a donation, potentially worth thousands of pounds, for a charity of their choice.
