Presenter Rick Stein takes viewers on a culinary journey through Spain. Travelling in his old camper van, he begins his travels on the Atlantic coast, in Galicia. From there he heads toward the Mediterranean, always sampling the local fare. He continues on his journey, driving through the land of El Cid, with its vast plains and castles, and then through La Mancha, renowned for its wine and rustic cuisine. He also makes stops in Extremadura, known for the Iberico ham, and Seville, home to tapas and flamenco. Part travelogue, part cookery show, Stein gives viewers a real taste of Spain.
