Winter has finally arrived in Westeros - but who will survive to see the spring as Game of Thrones reaches its climax?
Game of Thrones really did not hold back in season six, with no less than 25 named characters being killed off in spectacular fashion (11 in the finale alone!).
Well… buckle up as the fight for the Iron Throne is going to get even more bloody before it reaches its dramatic end. With two seasons left to go, it really is anyone’s game at this point, with some unexpected alliances and last-minute players joining the fight for good measure.
After years of pulling the strings of her children, Cersei now wears the heavy crown to rule Westeros – but the Lannisters now have next to no allies, and need to think quickly to build up a support system, especially with Daenerys making her way into the continent, with Cersei’s brother Tyrion as his right hand man.
In the North, Jon Snow has reunited with his sister, Sansa, and also has growing strength thanks to House Mormont and the Wildlings, all while battling off an army of White Walkers – seemingly undefeatable ice demons. But then again, everyone has a weakness somewhere.
So who will make it to the eighth and final season? Here’s how season seven went down.
