As Erin Croft, Michelle Keegan has had to wear some weird and wacky outfits for the sake of comfort or in the name of hijinks.

Whether she’s needing to glam up and drab down, there’s something in Erin’s closet for every occasion - and make for some particularly memorable moments on the show.

And actress Michelle has a list of notable favourites that stand out.

Speaking ahead of series six (where she’s no doubt about to take on some even more bizarre looks), Michelle reveals her top five outfits from the series so far.

“I’d say the one where she’s a lion tamer. She’s in this bodysuit that’s epic,” Michelle explains.

“I saw it and it was the smallest thing, I was like, ‘How the hell is that gonna fit?’ But we got it on. I mean, it was an effort to go to the toilet, but we did it.”

“The femme fatale character she played on the murder mystery night. She had red lips and a long, red dress.

“That was so elegant and she doesn’t get dressed up like that a lot, so it was actually nice to see Erin in more of a glamorous light.”

“I’d say one of my favourites as well, was probably the first season when she wore dungarees,” Michelle says.

“I don’t know why, it reminds me of a really young Erin. Young, innocent Erin in her eighties dungarees.”

“We film in winter so there’s always layer upon layer in clothes. I love her in combats and her Doc Martens.”

“I loved the dress she’s wearing when she whispers in Vinnie’s ear.”

The dress in questioned is a gold sequinned dress, with shoulder pads and full-length sleeves - which was partnered with a pair of gold hoops.
