The animated series is not for children. In fact, its goal seems to be to offend as many as possible as it presents the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show has taken on Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, politicians of every stripe and self-important celebrities. Oh, and Kenny is killed in many episodes.
Cartman Gets An Anal Probe: Cartman dreams he has a close encounter with an alien. The other boys are convinced the dream was real, and that he has been the victim of an alien anal probe. (S1, E01)
The boys go on a hunting trip with Stan's Uncle Jimbo to find the famous Scuzzlebutt. They are unaware that the mountain they are hunting on is a volcano on the verge of erupting! (S1, E03)
Cartman wins a school essay competition by cheating and decides to buff up before receiving his award from Kathy Lee Gifford. Mr. Garrison and Mr. Hat plot to kill her! (S1, E02)
Kyle calls in genetic engineer Dr. Mephisto to crossbreed his pet elephant and Cartman's pot-bellied pig in a bid to win a science competition. (S1, E05)
Stan's ancient grandfather attempts to trick the boys into killing him. Meanwhile, the parents of South Park lobby a TV network to rid the airwaves of Terrance and Phillip. (S1, E06)
It's Halloween and Kenny is killed by a falling space station and turned into a zombie by some embalming fluid contaminated with Worcester sauce. The zombie disease spreads. (S1, E07)
During a Terrance & Phillip ad-break the boys decide to adopt an Ethiopian child, swayed by the promise of a free digital watch. Mobs of wild turkeys rampage through town! (S1, E08)
Mr Hankey, The Christmas Poo: The Mayor decides to impose a holiday theme which won't offend anybody. Kyle tries to convince everyone that Mr Hankey (a singing Christmas poo) exists. (S1, E09)
The new kid in class persuades Jesus to do battle with his father, Satan, in the final battle of good versus evil. Cartman is livid to learn the bout clashes with his birthday. (S1, E10)
The boys become lesbians to impress a new teacher, making Wendy jealous. Also, to his delight, Mr. Garrison's plastic surgery leaves him looking like David Hasselhoff. (S1, E11)
Mecha-Streisand: Cartman and Kyle fall out over a magic triangle they un-earth on an archaeological dig. The triangle yields the power to turn Barbra Streisand into a terrible monster. (S1, E12)
Cartman's Mum Is A Dirty S**t (1): Dr. Mephisto helps Cartman un-cover the truth about his dad's identity. The spotlight is on quite a few of South Park's male residents. Who could it be? (S1, E13)
