The Alternative Comedy Experience

This comedy programme features alternative comedians with material that is too clever, thoughtful, radical or downright stupid to make it on contemporary TV. Stewart Lee serves as presenter for the stand-up showcase, which is filmed at the Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh. Comedy Central boasts that it's `unlike any other live stand-up show on our screens'. Among the featured comedians are Simon Munnery, Phil Nichol, Andy Zaltzman, David O'Doherty, Paul Foot and Glenn Wool.
