Presenters Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell attempt to reunite people with their long-lost family members in this television series. With each individual story, the team search far and wide for answers, which has expanded to countries including Ethiopia, Australia, and America. Some of these people are happily reunited with their loved ones after years of separation. For others, the history that unfolds for them is more tragic, but on these occasions, these people meet some unexpected figures who offer comfort.

The unique bond between brothers is celebrated in the cases of Lee Sharp - who was told he was a foundling - and Peter MacDonald, who wants to see his big brother Trevor again.

Episode 2Episode 2

This episode follows two birth parents. Paula, who is searching for the son she became pregnant with in 1979, & Justus Augustin, who hopes to find a daughter put up for adoption.

Episode 3Episode 3

This episode follows Jayne - a woman who wants to tell her older brother that he was always thought of - and Kevin, who is determined to find his eldest daughter for his late wife.

Episode 4Episode 4

This episode follows the cases of Mark Thorpe - who yearns to find an older brother - and Jane Lewis, who was taken into foster care at 11 days old and seeks her three brothers.
