Craig Cash and Sue Johnston, stars of `The Royle Family', reunite in this comedy following the loves and lives of a lower-league football team's fans. The community of Redbridge Rovers supporters often gather at a rundown clubhouse where they share their passion for their team. Pete Mott is an overenthusiastic devotee of the Rovers who is closely watched by the club's matriarch, Doreen. Tel is Pete's childhood friend whose love interest is Mel and Mandy is the club's resident vamp. Writers Joe Wilkinson and David Earl also star as Pete's archrivals, Bruce and Lee.
