Treasure hunting isn't what it used to be. A new breed of urban hunters search for precious metals in what most people would consider to be unlikely places in the hope of being able to turn junk into money. Whether it's going to a high school to look through old chemistry equipment or crawling under old cars to try to get platinum from catalytic converters, the hunters stop at nothing for their chance at getting a big score. The search isn't without its risks - trespassing on the wrong person's property could result in the hunter facing the wrong end of a shotgun - but if the payoff is big enough, the danger is worth it.
