No Satellite Signal on the Sky Go app
The Sky Go app automatically connects to your Sky Q box when you're at home and on the same broadband network. So if you're getting a No Satellite Signal error message on your Sky Q box and try to use the Sky Go app instead, you'll get one on there too.
To disconnect your Sky Go app from your Sky Q box:
- In the Sky Go app, go to Settings.
- Under Preferences, look for Connect to Sky Q box and move the slider to the left. You’ll see a ‘Disconnected from Sky Q box’ confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
To reconnect to your Sky Q box, move the slider to the right. You’ll see a ‘Connected to Sky Q box’ confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
- In the Sky Go app, go to Settings.
- Toggle Connect to a Sky Q box to Off.
To reconnect Sky Go to your Sky Q box, toggle Connect to a Sky Q box back On.
- Open the Sky Go app and select Settings > Preferences.
- Select Connect to Sky Q box and change the setting to Off.
To reconnect to your Sky Q box, just change the setting back to On.
