With Sky Protect, the following Smart Home Devices are included in your policy:
• Video Doorbell. See who’s at your door from your phone. Even chat with them
• Indoor Camera. The ultimate house sitter. Keeps an eye on any room.
• Motion Sensor. Lets you know if something moves in a specific room or area.
• Contact Sensors. Lets you know if a window or door gets opened or closed.
• Leak Sensors. Looking out for unwanted water. Even hidden leaks with humidity settings.
The tech is yours to keep.
All tech supplied by Sky Protect is yours to keep after the cooling off period. If you decide to cancel after 31 days, you will be subject to an early termination charge. You keep the tech but some features on the Sky Protect app that are part of the Smart Home Insurance will stop (see sky.com/help/home/sky-protect for more details).
If you do cancel within the cooling off period, you’ll be asked to return the tech free of charge. There’s a non-return charge if the tech is not returned within 21 days from the point of cancellation.
The Sky Protect app is easy to use, helping to keep you set up and manage your smart devices and stay connected to them, wherever you go. You can also view your insurance policy, get support, and even start a claim.
Store any video clips you’ve captured securely in the Cloud for 30 days. Decide which automated alerts you get when there’s something you should look at. Send emergency alerts to an Emergency Contact and get other app and tech help.
