How long does it take to transfer my broadband?

It can take up to 10 working days to transfer your broadband service to a new address.

Will I get the same broadband speed at my new home?

If your current package is available in your new area, you can retain your speed and pricing. If not, you may need to upgrade or downgrade to a different offering. Do I need to cancel my old provider when switching to Sky?

No. If you’re switching from another provider, the One Touch Switch process means we’ll handle the cancellation for you.

Are there any fees for moving or switching broadband?

If you’re a Sky VIP customer, your home move is free. If not, it will cost £50. If you’re a new customer switching to Sky, you may have to pay your old provider an exit or termination fee.

Can I move my Sky TV or landline services at the same time?

When you book a home move with Sky, we will move all your Sky services at once to your new location.

Can I change my broadband package during the move?

Just let us know 2-4 weeks in advance so we can get you ready for move-in day. We’ll be right there with you, so you can focus on getting everything to your new home in one piece.

Have your new address and postcode to hand to check we’re available at your new address. We’ll take a look and let you know what you can get

Usually, you can keep your existing broadband package and move it straight across to your new home. Same package, same price, same great speeds.

Can’t get the same package? No problem, we’ve got plenty of other options to get you set up for moving in.

In the event we’re not available at your new address, you’ll be able to cancel when you move with no exit fees.

Once you book your home move, you can track your progress and any installation dates at any time.
