  • What is Sky VIP?

    Sky VIP is a loyalty programme for all our customers, it’s our way of saying thank you. It’s free to join and the longer you’re with us, the better it gets. Your exclusive rewards are waiting for you now.

  • What do I have to do to join?

    Just go to your My Sky app and find Sky VIP on the home screen. If it isn’t there, just go to the App Store or Google Play and update your app. It’s really easy.

  • How do I update my My Sky app?

    If you can’t see Sky VIP on your My Sky app home screen, just go to the App Store or Google Play and update the app. It doesn’t take long.

  • Does joining Sky VIP affect my contract?

    No, Sky VIP is free to join and you don’t need to change your contract or re-contract to be part of the programme.

  • Who can access Sky VIP?

    • The Primary Sky iD holder and one Authorised Sky iD holder per household can access Sky VIP. One reward is available per household.
    • For any given reward, only one – either the Primary Sky iD holder or the registered Authorised Sky iD holder – can redeem that reward, whichever is first.
    • Rewards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • How do you work out which Tier I'm in?

    Your Sky VIP Tier is based on the length of time you’ve continuously had either Sky TV, Sky Mobile, Sky Talk and/or Sky Broadband. The Tiers are divided as follows:

    • Silver: 0 – 3 years
    • Gold: 3 – 8 years
    • Platinum: 8 – 15 years
    • Diamond: 15+ years

    The rewards you’re eligible for will depend on which Tier you’re in, and the Sky products and services you have.

    If you decide to cancel all your Sky services but then return at a later stage, the length of time you’ve been with us will reset to zero and restart from your new joining date. Rewards are cumulative, for example, with Sky VIP Diamond membership, you’ll get all the benefits of Silver, Gold and Platinum.

  • How do I redeem my Welcome Gift?

    Once you’ve joined Sky VIP:

    • Select the Welcome Gift from the Sky VIP home screen then accept the terms and conditions. 

    • We’ll send a confirmation email to the registered Sky account email address for your household, with a voucher code and instructions on how to redeem your Welcome Gift on the skystore.com website. Please check your junk folder if you haven’t had a confirmation email within the next two hours. If it isn’t there, please check and edit your email at sky.com/mysky/my-details
    • To redeem your voucher, just go to skystore.com/redeem and enter your voucher code.
    • Once redeemed, select Sky VIP at the top of the page then select Sky VIP Welcome Gift to view the full list of Sky VIP Welcome Gift movie titles.
    • Select the HD Digital & DVD option showing at £0.00/€0.00.

    Please note: you must not redeem your Welcome Gift on your Sky box. If you do, you’ll be charged.

    You must have joined Sky VIP, selected the Welcome Gift and accepted the terms and conditions by 15 August 2018 to get your Welcome Gift. You then have until 31 August 2018 to redeem your voucher code online at skystore.com. From the date you redeem your voucher code online you have one year to choose your movie.

    Please note: Once you’ve selected your Welcome Gift in the My Sky app, it can take up to two hours to receive your Welcome Gift email containing your voucher code.

    There’s only one Welcome Gift per household, so your voucher code can only be used once.

  • Will the Welcome Gift credit my Sky Store account?

    No, it won’t credit your online account in the same way that some other Sky Store vouchers do. When you redeem your Welcome Gift voucher code on skystore.com, the price of all eligible HD Digital & DVD Buy & Keep movies will appear as £0.00/€0.00. Eligible movies will remain priced at £0.00/€0.00 for one year from the date you redeem your voucher code on the Sky Store website. To view the full list of Sky VIP Welcome Gift movie titles, go to skystore.com then select Sky VIP at the top of the page.

  • Where are my confirmation emails?

    When you join Sky VIP, we’ll send your Welcome email and any further confirmation emails to the registered Sky account email address for your household. Don’t worry if you don’t get your Welcome email straight away, it can take up to 24 hours.

    • You can view the personal details we hold for you in the My Sky app. Go to Manage account > My details.
    • You can view and edit some of your personal details online in Manage.

    Confirmation emails for event tickets and prize draws will be sent to the email address you provide when you book or enter.

    Please remember to check your spam/junk folder, just in case the emails have been delivered there instead.

  • How will Sky VIP contact me?

    We’ll always contact the Primary Sky iD holder for your household, either through the My Sky app, by email, Sky's messaging service or direct mail.

    • You can view the personal details we hold for you in the My Sky app. Go to Manage account > My details.
    • You can view and edit some of your personal details online in Manage.

    For tickets, prize draws and competition entries, we’ll use the email address you provide when entering.

  • What rewards do I get?

    To see which rewards are available to you, open your My Sky app and select Sky VIP from the home screen. From here, you can select each reward to find out more information.

  • How do I redeem my rewards?

    Open your My Sky app and select Sky VIP from the home screen. From here, you can swipe through your rewards to see what’s available to you, then simply select the reward you want to find out how to redeem.

  • Will my rewards show on my bill?

    If the reward is related to a Sky package or service it will show on your bill as a Sky VIP reward.

  • Can I send my friends/family to Sky VIP events instead?

    Yes. Each time you book tickets to a Sky VIP event, you’ll be asked to enter the ticketholder’s details. As the account holder, you are responsible for accepting and passing on the terms and conditions of the event to the ticketholder.

    On arrival, the ticketholder will need:

    • A form of photographic ID (driving licence or passport) or their credit/debit card

    • The email or app booking confirmation.

  • Why isn’t Sky VIP on your website?

    The My Sky app is a quick and easy way to manage your account, so we’ve included Sky VIP in there too. If you haven't already got the My Sky app, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play today.

  • What happens when I change Tier?

    You don’t need to do a thing. When you reach your anniversary, we’ll move you into your new Tier and your new rewards will be available in the My Sky app. You’ll remain eligible for all the rewards from previous Tiers too.

  • What happens if I cancel Sky or if I owe Sky money?

    If you cancel all your Sky services but then return at a later stage, the length of time you’ve been with us will reset to zero and restart from your new joining date. Your Sky VIP tier will also reset to Silver.

    If you’re in debt you, won’t be able to join Sky VIP. If you go into debt after joining, your account will be restricted and you won’t be able to redeem any rewards until the debt is cleared.

  • Sky VIP accessibility information

    You can access Sky VIP via the My Sky app. If you need any support while using Sky VIP, our dedicated accessibility team is available to help and can be contacted via the Sky Accessibility website, or by phone on 0344 241 0333 (UK) or 0818 71 98 09 (Republic of Ireland).

  • Why can't I view my See It First reward?

    You’ll need to be a Sky TV customer and have Sky VIP Gold, Platinum or Diamond membership to get access to the Sky Atlantic VIP channel. It could also take up to 72 hours before it’s added to your account after joining Sky VIP.
