Protecting you from life’s little mishaps with Sky Protect
Accidents happen. But there’s no need to worry when you’ve got Sky Protect. Get unlimited repairs and replacements, and accidental damage and breakdown, when you cover your Sky equipment and a device of your choice.
All Sky customers are eligible to take up Sky Protect and you can choose to cover up to 8 devices. Loss and theft cover are available for mobile phones and can be added (if selected) for up to 4 mobiles per policy.
Sky Protect is the only insurance endorsed by Sky and gives you access to Sky approved engineers and a dedicated helpline seven days a week. Sky Protect is an insurance product provided by Domestic and General, the UK’s leading appliance care specialist.
What you get from Sky Protect:

- Exclusive priority for your core Sky equipment*.
- Worldwide cover.
For £9 a month, you can cover your device/s and Sky equipment (Sky Q customers can cover 2 devices, Sky+ customers can cover 1 device). You can insure extra device/s, each for an additional £3 a month and add loss and theft cover for your chosen mobile(s) for an additional £5 per mobile per month.
Cover is available for TV’s, mobile phones, laptops, tablets and certain game consoles. Your devices must cost less than £2000 when new and be in good working order. Mobile phones must be no more than 3 years old. If you make a claim for a mobile phone, there will be a £75 excess.
*Tell us about a problem by 4pm, and if we can’t fix your core Sky equipment the next day, we’ll refund you a week’s Sky TV subscription. Excludes special heights and premises difficult to access safely, North Highlands, and Islands.
