Transfer your mobile phone number to Sky in three easy steps.

  1. Activate your SIM, if you haven't already.
  2. Request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your old provider.
  3. Give us your PAC and let us know the number you want to keep.

We'll do the rest.

Don't have a PAC? Using your old SIM, not your Sky SIM, text PAC to 65075.

How long does it take?

If you give us your PAC...We'll transfer your number to Sky Mobile...
Before 6pm Monday – FridayBy 5pm the next working day
After 6pm, or on a Saturday or SundayWithin 2 working days


This can take longer over Bank Holidays. We'll text you when it's done . Things like voicemail and picture messaging can take up to 24 hours to work.

Ready to transfer your number?

You'll need to be the account holder to do this. Sign into your account and carefully check the number details you enter – especially if you've got more than one SIM.

Got an iPhone?

Top tip: After your number's been transferred, double check it's showing the right phone number in your iPhone settings. On your iPhone: Go to Settings > Phone > My Number > type in the number you're keeping > Save > then turn your phone off and back on again.

This is to make sure it doesn't show the wrong phone number when you make calls or send texts.
