Activate your SIM

Let’s get you set up.

Once you’ve got your new SIM card or eSIM, you’ll need to activate it online. This should only take a few minutes. For eSIMs, you'll also need to install it on your device.

Want to transfer your number too? You can do this at the same time (or later). You’ll just need to get a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your old provider and then give it to us. Transferring your number to Sky takes 1-2 working days, or slightly longer over Bank Holidays.

Before you start

If you’re using your new Sky SIM in a device from another provider, you might need to unlock your phone first. Sky Mobile devices come already unlocked.
