‘Call to upgrade’ message when downloading On Demand content
What to do if you have a 'Call to upgrade' message when you are downloading shows from On Demand, including Box Sets.
As our downloads are set as HD as default, you might need to change your download format, so it will download the SD format of shows from On Demand, to do this:
- Press Home on your Sky Q remote on your main Sky Q box and select Settings, then Setup.
- Select Preferences, then On Demand default download format, and choose SD, HD or UHD.
This can only be checked/changed on your main Sky Q box, not on your Sky Q Mini box.
After changing the format, try again to download the show you were looking for.
