The critically acclaimed  US drama series True Detective is coming to Sky Atlantic HD on Saturday 22 February at 9pm

This dark and atmospheric eight-part series stars Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Matthew McConaughey and Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson as Rust Cohle and Martin Hart, two Louisiana detectives whose lives collide and entwine during a 17-year hunt for a killer. We then follow the investigation and the pair, shifting between 1995, 2002 and 2012,

The show also stars Kevin Dunn as Major Quesada, Hart and Cohle's boss; Tory Kittles and Michael Potts as detectives Papania and Gilbough, in charge of the 2012 investigation; Elizabeth Reaser as Laurie; Shea Whigham as revivalist Joel Theriot; Clarke Peters as a rural minister; Jay O. Sanders as Billy Lee Tuttle; and Lili Simmons as Beth, a prostitute.

True Detective begins on Sky Atlantic on Saturday 22 February at 9pm but you can see the first episode before it airs on TV with Sky Go, On Demand and Now TV from February 16th at midnight.
