There are up to 68‡ channels available in high definition, depending on your Sky TV package
Sky Entertainment Extra+ (£31.50 a month) gives you access to over 45‡ HD channels. Among the channels you'll get are Sky Atlantic HD, Sky1 HD, FOX HD, Discovery HD and Nat Geo HD.
Sky Movies (£16 extra a month on top of your Sky TV package) and Sky Sports (£21 extra a month on top of your Sky TV package) channels are available in high definition to Sky Entertainment Extra+ customers when the Sky Sports or Sky Movies and the HD Pack (£5.25 extra a month on top of your Sky TV package) is added. So if you have the standard definition Sky Movies Premiere and/or Sky Sports 1 in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HD Pack.

Programmes you've recorded can be accessed via the on-screen menu. Your Planner shows you all the programmes you've got stored, indicating what you've seen and what's waiting to be watched. To watch a recorded programme, go to the Planner, highlight the programme you want, and press "select".
You can record and store up to 185 hours of standard definition TV or around 60 hours of high definition TV on your Sky+HD box.
Your Sky+HD box will come with a Sky+HD remote control. You can buy additional remote controls, as well as a TV link to let you watch the same Sky channel on another TV and a Wireless Connector if you want to connect to On Demand wirelessly.

Sky+HD 2TB box: £49 for existing Sky TV customers taking their first HD package or existing Sky+HD customers adding Sky Multiroom (£10.25pm per box). Existing Sky+HD customers are entitled to one £149 box, additional 2TB boxes £249. £249 for any existing customer who received a discounted 1TB box. New customers joining Sky TV with Sky Entertainment Extra+ are entitled to one £149 box. Any additional 2TB boxes thereafter or when taking without Sky Entertainment Extra+ are £249. Standard set-up £30 for new customers and £60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Sky HD Multiroom box: Sky HD Multiroom box is the SkyHD standard Digibox (No PVR functionality) which along with a Sky TV and Sky Multiroom subscription (£10.25 extra a month) gives your Sky TV subscription in another room. First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiroom subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise £49. Replacement boxes are £99.
