You can download anything in the Sky Anytime+ catalogue, but you can only watch content for which you already have a subscription. Programmes in HD will require an HD subscription, to watch Sky Movies on Sky Anytime+ you’ll need the Movies Pack (Sky Movies 1 & 2), and to watch Sky Sports on demand you'll need the Sports Pack (Sky Sports 1 & 2). Plus, all Sky Anytime+ customers can rent movies instantly in the new Sky Store. Once you have activated the service, you can see what's on by pressing 'TV Guide' on your Sky remote followed by the red button.
When you download a programme, in most cases you can start watching within minutes. However, the download speed of your chosen programme will depend on your line speed. If your line speed is below 2Mbps, you might find your programme downloads faster if you download outside of peak hours.
If you have a recent Sky+ or Sky+HD box but have not connected your box to your broadband router, you will automatically receive Sky Anytime, the pick of the week's TV on demand (depending on your Sky TV subscription), to watch whenever you want to.
Connecting your compatible Sky+ box to your broadband router gives you access to Sky Anytime+ - a huge library of TV on demand (depending on your Sky TV subscription) delivered through your broadband service.
Sky Store is the new place to rent movies instantly – no need to leave the house and no late fees. It’s open to all Sky TV customers with Sky Anytime+, just scroll across to the Sky Store tab and browse through hundreds of movies, including some of the latest releases out on DVD and a huge library of favourites. Prices start from just 99p. Once you’ve chosen the movie you want to rent, simply enter your pin (if you have one) and start your download . Please note, your Sky+HD box needs to be connected to a working telephone line.

Sky+HD 1TB box: £99 for Sky TV customers taking their first HD package (£10.25pm) or existing Sky+HD customers adding Sky Multiroom (£10.25pm per box). Existing Sky+HD customers are entitled to one £149 box, additional boxes £249. New customers are entitled to one £149 box when taking with HD pack, any additional boxes thereafter or when taking without the HD Pack are £249. Standard set-up £30 for new customers and £60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.
Sky HD Multiroom Box: Sky HD Multiroom Box is the SkyHD standard Digibox (No PVR functionality) which along with a Sky TV and Sky Multiroom subscription (£10.25 extra a month) gives your Sky TV subscription in another room. First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiroom subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise £49. Replacement boxes are £99.
