Sky makes switching easy

  • You can order your broadband, calls and line rental from Sky in one simple online process - even if you are a Virgin Media or TalkTalk customer, or don't have an active BT compatible line.

  • Order a new Sky phone line

    When you select Sky Broadband & Talk you'll be asked to enter your phone number. If you don't have a compatible line, you can get a new one from Sky.

    The usual cost for this is £39 when you join Sky TV and take Sky Line Rental.

  • How do I switch to Sky Talk?

    • Switching to Sky Talk is easy for Sky TV customers. If you currently have a BT phone line you can keep your number and handset, and we can help you move to Sky whatever your current situation.

      It takes about two weeks to switch, but we’ll confirm exact times with you when you order. Once you've ordered, we will carry out the switch automatically, you don't need to do anything.

    Can I keep my existing telephone number if I switch to Sky Talk?

    • If you are switching from a BT compatible line then you should be able to keep your number.

    Will I get a new phone bill?

    • When you take Sky Line Rental with Sky Talk, both your line rental and calls will be added to your Sky TV bill.

    Who will maintain and service my phone line?

    • If you have Sky Line Rental, your phone line will be serviced through Sky.

¹12 months BT line rental offer available for £120 with upfront payment in advance. Line rental from BT costs £14.60 a month for customers who pay by direct debit and receive paper billing.
