How do I switch to Sky Talk?
Switching to Sky Talk is easy for Sky TV customers. You can keep your number and handset, and we can help you move to Sky whatever your current situation.
It takes about two weeks to switch, but we’ll confirm exact times with you when you order. Once you've ordered, we will carry out the switch automatically, you don't need to do anything.
Can I keep my existing number if I switch to Sky Talk?
If you are switching from a BT compatible line then you should be able to keep your number.
Will I get a new phone bill?
When you take Sky Line Rental with Sky Talk, both your line rental and calls will be added to your Sky TV bill.
Who will maintain and service my phone line?
If you have Sky Line Rental, your phone line will be serviced through Sky.
Sky Broadband in Sky Network Area: Maximum home download speeds up to 17Mbps. Existing customer set-up £60 for Lite or free for Unlimited. Monthly usage caps: Lite - 2GB. Maximum upload speed: Lite and Unlimited –1.3Mb.
Sky Broadband outside Network area: Connect is available at £17pm with no monthly usage cap (£30 set-up for existing Sky TV customers & customers without Sky TV). Maximum home download speeds up to 6Mbps. Connect subject to a Network Management Policy.

Calls to Sky contact centres are free for Sky Talk customers. Calls to 03 numbers are the same as 01 and 02 numbers. If 08 or 03 numbers are not included in your call package, for 08 numbers BT customers pay 5.1p/min and 15.97p connection and for 03 numbers 9.58p/min and 15.97p connection. Calls from other providers will vary.
