The Premier League has announced that the 19/20 season is set to return on 17 June. With 92 matches of the current season remaining, Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch 39 exclusive live games, with an additional 25 live matches available to all Sky subscribers.

To celebrate the return of the Premier League, we will also launch a host of innovative new features to give fans an even more immersive experience and the chance to share the moments live with family and friends on virtual platforms.

The drama and excitement of live sport keeps coming, with the PGA Tour and Sanzaar Rugby also returning to Sky Sports in June.

  • When will live sport return to Sky Sports?

    Following the announcement from the Premier League on 28 May, live Premier League football is set to return on 17 June.

    With 92 matches of the current season remaining, Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch 39 exclusive live games, with an additional 25 live matches available to all Sky subscribers.

    Following the announcement from the EFL on 31 May, live Championship football is set to return on 20 June.

    As soon as return dates for other sports events are confirmed, we will publicise widely.

  • How can I watch the additional 25 live Premier League matches from Sky?

    The Premier League season is set to restart on Wednesday 17 June, and as the UK’s leading football broadcaster, Sky will make 25 games available ‘free to air’ for everyone in the UK to enjoy, including Everton v Liverpool on the opening weekend.

    With 92 Premier League matches of the current season remaining, Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch 39 exclusive live games with a further 25 available more widely via Sky’s free to air ‘Pick’ Channel and simulcast on Sky Sports, allowing the whole nation to be part of the return of live sport.



  • When will live Golf return on Sky Sports?

    Some live golf has already returned, and the PGA Tour is due to re-start on 11 June. The European Tour will follow, kicking off with the British Masters on the 22 – 25 July.

    As soon as return dates for other golf events are confirmed, we will publicise widely.



  • When will live F1 return on Sky Sports?

    We are awaiting further announcements from the FIA on the full season schedule and once confirmed, we will publicise widely.



  • The sport I subscribe for hasn’t returned, can I continue to watch Sky Sports?

    Yes, you will still have full access to your Sky Sports channels and recordings to catch-up on the latest news, favourite sporting moments and archive footage.

  • When will live sport return to BT Sport?

    Following the announcement from the Premier League, the season is set to return on 17 June on BT Sport. Of the remaining 92 fixtures BT Sport will show 20 exclusively live.

    The Bundesliga returned on 16 May and is currently available on BT Sport.

    As soon as return dates for Premier League and other sports on BT Sport are announced, we will publicise widely.



  • I paused my Sky Sports subscription, when will I start to pay for Sky Sports?

    Billing will resume for Sky Sports Golf & Premier League subscribers including those on Complete Sky Sports, single channel packs, and also two, or three channel packs in June. You will not be charged for Sports for any days before 19 June 2020. This will appear in your bill.

    Billing will resume for single Sky Sports Football pack subscribers in June. You will not be charged for any days before 20 June.

    Any customers on the single Sky Sports F1 pack will not be charged until the first live 2020 Grand Prix race week, once confirmed, we will publicise widely.

    As soon as other sports event return dates are confirmed, including those across our Sky Sports Cricket and Action & Arena packs, we will publicise widely.



  • I have paused my BT Sport subscription through Sky, when will I start to pay?

    Billing for BT Sport through Sky will resume in June. You will not be charged for any days before 19 June 2020. This will appear in your bill.



  • How much will I pay?

    It will depend on your billing date, but you won’t be charged for any days before 19 June 2020. This will appear in your bill.

    In the coming days, once your bill has been generated, you can check your bill online in the manage my account section.
