    Important information about your Spotify Premium service with Sky

    Below are the extra terms and conditions to be aware of in relation to your Spotify Premium Service (as defined in the Spotify Terms of Use) where you have asked for it to be billed by Sky with payments added to your Sky TV bill.

    These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use (“Spotify Terms of Use”) and Privacy Policy (“Spotify Privacy Policy”). By subscribing for this offer, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the Spotify Terms of Use and understand that any personal information that SPOTIFY may collect and process under your Subscription TO, AND USE OF, THE SPOTIFY SERVICE will be done in accordance with the Spotify Privacy Policy.

    If there are any differences between these terms and the Spotify Terms of Use, these will be the ones which are relevant for your use of Spotify.

    Payment by you to Sky of the sums due for your Spotify Premium Service shall satisfy your monthly payment commitment under the Spotify Terms of Use.

     

    Your rights to cancel your Spotify Premium order

    You have the right to cancel your order for Spotify Premium without giving any reason any time up to 14 days (“cooling off period”) from the latter of: (i) activation of the service; or (ii) confirmation in writing of the relevant terms and conditions for that product (which includes making the terms and conditions available to you in My Sky). If you do this we will refund to you all payments received from you in connection with the Spotify Premium Service.

    However, you acknowledge that you lose the above right to cancel your order if your Spotify Premium account is activated during the cooling off period and you acknowledge that you would lose the right to cancel at that point.

    If you have the right to cancel your order for Sky TV services (in accordance with the section headed ‘Your right to cancel your order’ in your Sky TV terms and conditions booklet) and you exercise that right, your Spotify Premium Service will automatically cancel at the same time.. If your Spotify Premium account is activated prior to you cancelling your TV services you must pay us an amount which is proportionate to what was provided up to the point your Spotify Premium Service is cancelled.

    Sky may offer an enhanced cooling off period from time to time which we will advise you of at the time of your purchase.

    How to cancel: You can cancel your Spotify Premium order by:

    1. Calling 03442 41 44 14;

    2. Writing to Sky Subscribers Services Limited, PO Box 43, Livingston, West Lothian EH54 7DD;

    3. Visiting the “Contact Us” section at sky.com and completing the online cancellation form; or

    4. by using one of our online messaging options on sky.com.

    You must give your name, customer account number, address, post code, telephone number and e-mail address to cancel your order. If you cancel in writing we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail.

    Refunds: We will make any refund due to you without undue delay. We will make the refund using the same means of payment that you used when you placed your order, unless you have agreed otherwise.

    These cancellation rights do not affect your legal rights. If you require any advice on your legal rights, you can refer to adviceguide.org.uk.

    Spotify Premium offers and cancelling

    If you have used the Spotify Premium Service before (INCLUDING IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED FOR ANY TRIALS OF THE SPOTIFY PREMIUM SERVICE), you will NOT be eligible for a Spotify Premium offer (the “Spotify Premium Offer”) and will be made aware of this at the point of signing up to the Spotify Premium Service with Sky.

    At the end of the Spotify Premium Offer we will charge you for your use of the Spotify Premium Service on a monthly basis and at the THEN current monthly price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the offer ends in accordance with these terms.

    To cancel Spotify Premium, you must contact us at least 24 hours before either the end of the relevant Spotify Premium offer or your next billing date (which can be found by visiting the ‘Manage’ page on sky.com). You can cancel by using one of the following methods:

    ● by using one of our online messaging options on sky.com.

    Notice given by these means will be processed immediately.

    You can also write to us (Sky Subscribers Services Limited, PO Box 43, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 7DD) or e-mail us at mysky@sky.uk. If notice is given by these means we may need to verify account information before the notice is effective (and once verified the notice will be effective from the date of the original notice). We will acknowledge written notices by return letter or email and will contact you separately if we need to verify any account information.     If you cancel in line with the above process we will not take any further payments for Spotify Premium and your access to Spotify Premium will end either at the end of your Spotify Premium Offer or the end of your current Spotify Premium billing period, as applicable.

    Your Spotify Premium Service will be cancelled at the end of your current Spotify service billing cycle. Please note this can be prior to the cancellation of your Sky TV subscription.

    If you cancel your Sky TV services (in accordance with your Sky TV terms and conditions), your Spotify Premium account will automatically cancel and you will be charged for Spotify Premium up until the date of your next bill following which we will not take further payments for Spotify Premium and your access to Spotify Premium will end at the end of your current billing period. When cancelling your Spotify Premium service with Sky, Sky will downgrade you to the Spotify free service where you can continue to use this service on Spotify compatible devices.

    Changes to the Spotify service

    Any changes to the Spotify service such as any device restrictions or price changes will be communicated to you directly by Spotify in accordance with the Spotify Terms of Use.
