The engineer will carry out all work required to ensure the service is up-and-running. This includes replacing a master socket if the existing one is faulty, or installing a new one if none exist. It's worth noting, however, that they will not move an existing socket.
No. You'll need to use your Sky Hub. This allows us to provide an online broadband health check, which gives you updates on the speed you're receiving and the devices connected to your Wi-Fi. It also enables both you and our tech team to carry out checks if there's a problem with your service.
The Sky Q Hub is our best ever hub. If you're a Sky Q customer with Sky Broadband or Sky Fibre, the Sky Q Hub turns your Sky Q TV boxes into Wi-Fi hotspots, improving speed and coverage around your home.

Remote line monitoring daily and if a fault is identified this may require an outage of up to 3 minutes. Sky Broadband Buddy app requires activation. Includes waiving surcharge for evening and weekend engineer visits. Sky Mobile customers will receive 2GB of data credited to their Sky Piggybank for each full outage of 30 mins or longer capped at three credits per calendar month and 18 credits in any 18 month period (allow 24 hours for credit to be applied).
Sky Broadband Ultrafast: Available in Ultrafast Areas only (approx. 10% of UK properties): Speeds vary by location. Guaranteed download speeds of 100Mb: If your download speed falls below 100Mb for three consecutive days, you can exit your Sky Broadband and Talk contracts without early termination charges. Speed check must be done using sky.com/mybroadband. Further terms apply.
Sky Broadband Buddy: Sky Broadband Buddy app requires Sky Broadband Essential, Superfast or Ultrafast and Sky Broadband Boost. Sky Broadband Buddy app required on compatible iOS or Android devices (see sky.com/buddy for software and device requirements). Sky recommends that all devices connected to the internet are protected with anti-virus software at all times.
Speed Guarantee for Fibre customers: If, after the first 14 days after activation, the download speed to your hub drops below your guaranteed minimum download speed, for 3 consecutive days or more, you can claim money back. You must be within your minimum term and can claim twice within it. Money back will be 1 month's Sky Broadband and Talk product subscription (excluding Sky Broadband Boost), or, if within the first 30 days of activation, set up costs too. Total loss of service and Major Service Outages do not count towards 3 day periods. Speed check must be done using sky.com/mybroadband, the MySky app or by speaking to one of our service advisors. If you subscribed to both Sky Sports and Sky Cinema prior to 18 July 2017, any change to your Sky TV subscription or current sports package will result in a price increase on your Sky Cinema subscription.

Sky Sports or Cinema on a contract: Requires new minimum term on your Sky TV subscription.
