Sky Sports update: Sport is back!

Live action is returning to Sky Sports! The Premier League has announced that the 19/20 season is set to return on Wednesday 17 June.

If you paused your Sky Sports package, you don’t need to do anything to start enjoying the live action again.

When will live sport return to Sky Sports?
Following the announcement from the Premier League on 28 May, live Premier League football returned on 17 June.

With 92 matches of the current season remaining, Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch 39 exclusive live games, with an additional 25 live matches available to all Sky subscribers.

Following the announcement from the EFL on 31 May, live Championship football is set to return on 20 June, with 30 exclusive live games on Sky Sports, plus 15 play-off matches from across League 1, 2 and the Championship.

Formula 1 has announced the return of racing with the first 8 races of the 2020 F1 season now confirmed, starting with the Austrian GP on 5 July. Watch every practice, qualifying and race live, only on Sky Sports.

Live international cricket is set to return on 8 July between England & West Indies. The three-test match series will be exclusively live on Sky Sports.

How can I watch the additional 25 live Premier League matches?
The Premier League season restarted on Wednesday 17 June. As the UK's leading football broadcaster, Sky will make 25 games available 'free to air' for everyone in the UK to enjoy, including Everton v Liverpool on the opening weekend.

With 92 Premier League matches of the current season remaining, Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch 39 exclusive live games with a further 25 available more widely via Sky's free to air ‘Pick’ Channel and simulcast on Sky Sports, allowing the whole nation to be part of the return of live sport.

When will live golf return on Sky Sports?
Some live golf has already returned, including the PGA Tour on 11 June. The European Tour will follow, kicking off with the British Masters on the 22 – 25 July.

When will live sport return to BT Sport?
Following the announcement from the Premier League, the season restarted on 17 June. Of the remaining 92 fixtures, BT Sport will show 20 exclusively live.

The Bundesliga returned on 16 May and is currently available on BT Sport. As soon as return dates for other sports on BT Sport are announced, we'll publicise widely.

I paused my Sky Sports subscription, when will I start to pay for Sky Sports?
Billing will resume for Sky Sports Golf & Premier League subscribers, including those on Complete Sky Sports, single channel packs, and also two, or three channel packs, in June. You will not be charged for Sports for any days before 19 June 2020. This will appear in your bill.
