Check the connections and try another device

If youre using a HDMI cable, check the cable is plugged securely into the pink HDMI socket at the back of your Sky Q box and TV.

If you're seeing this message on a Sky Q Mini box and it's connected via an AV cable, check the cable is securely plugged into the AV port at the back of your Sky Q Mini box and TV.

Try another device

Try using another device on the same input, such as:

  • DVD or Blu-ray player.

  • Games console.

  • Other set top box (e.g. Chromecast or Apple TV).

To do this, disconnect the HDMI cable from the HDMI socket on your TV and connect your new device to the same input.

If the other device works, go to the next step. If it doesn’t, contact your TV manufacturer for advice
