Help with your Sky products during bad weather

Heavy rain and strong wind can sometimes affect your Sky products. If you want to check that it is bad weather causing issues with your Sky services:

*Compatible device and 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi required (charges may apply). App features and functions vary by platform/device. See iTunes App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Are you experiencing bad weather?

Bad weather can affect your satellite signal so please wait for the weather to return to normal.

While you wait, you can still enjoy your favourite programmes on Sky Go or on demand. You can also watch programmes you've recorded to your Planner for up to 12 hours from the time your box last received a satellite signal.

  • Do you need to reschedule an engineer visit?

During bad weather, tasks like installing or fixing satellite dishes can be unsafe for our engineers.

If you need to reschedule an engineer visit:

    1. Sign into My Orders using your Sky iD.
    2. Select Reschedule appointment.
    3. Choose a date that’s more suitable for you.
    4. Select Confirm new appointment.

You’ll receive a phone call from your Sky engineer giving you an estimated time of their arrival.
