Buying a Box Office event

To buy a Box Office event on your Sky Q box, see our help video or read the information below.

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, select TV Guide, then Box Office.
  2. Select the event and enter your Sky TV PIN if prompted.

You can also buy a Box Office event in the TV Guide or Mini Guide by selecting it and pressing on your Sky Q remote when it’s highlighted.

Shows bought directly through your Sky Q box are recorded and will be available to watch for a limited time after broadcast. It'll be in Rentals, under Recordings.

Please note: You’ll be charged as soon as a Box Office event starts to record, even if you don't watch it. 

Box Office error messages

  • Programme has been deleted. You will be charged for this programme.

    This means you’ve been charged as the Box Office event would have started to record.

    To restore the recording and watch it again:

    1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, select Recordings then Most Recent.
    2. Select Deleted then select the recording. Choose Undelete to restore the recording.

    Alternatively, you may be able to watch or record a repeat of the event.

  • Your booking has been cancelled

    If you cancel a booked event before it's started you won't be charged.

    If the event has started you’ll be charged the full amount and the show up to the point of cancellation will be saved in your recordings. To watch it:

    1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, select Recordings, then Most Recent.
    2. Select the show to start watching.

    You may also be able to watch or record a repeat of the event.
