Review

Comedy-drama-weepie about a happy-go-lucky Irishman (John Gregson) whose fear of heights drives him to drink and disgrace, especially in the eyes of his children. These prove to be two enchanting moppets, in the forms of Jacqueline Ryan (in the title role) and Richard O'Sullivan, who grew up to star in such ITV comedy series as Man About the House, Robin's Nest and Me & My Girl. It's a likeable little drama with earnest performances and atmospheric background detail.
