Review

This very minor, modest and mostly mediocre British melodrama - partly written by Avengers producer Brian Clemens - has a hard job getting into gear as it tells the story of an international racing driver who seems to have lost everything; and of the gallant fight of his wife and doctors to bring back his will to live. It marks the only screen appearance - in a supporting role as Bart - of Australian painter-singer-comedian Rolf Harris, recently voted the most famous artist in the world, way ahead of Picasso. Just for the record, the Ian Fleming who plays Dr Marshall is the long-time British character actor, not the James Bond author!
