No.40 - The Limey - $3m
Supposedly playing the same character (now 30 years older) he created in the film Poor Cow, Terence Stamp is embarrassingly bad as the East End crook who descends on LA in search of the guys who offed his little girl.
Stamp seems to be almost chewing (perhaps choking on) his banal dialogue. 'Jenny loved the ocean,' consoles his contact (Lesley Ann Warren). 'Yeah,' sighs Stamp. 'She was from an island.'
The whole film has an amateurish, low-budget feel that does no favours to Stamp or Warren - or to Peter Fonda and Barry Newman as the villains.
