If you have a moustache, your face could earn you a small fortune.
Devon and Cornwall Police are looking for men with facial furniture to help them with their enquiries, and they are willing to pay.
Des Lynam has a marvellous moustache
The force urgently needs to update its photo database - the pictures police use to make e-fits of suspects.
Each e-fit is made up of different facial features that witnesses select to construct the face of the suspect.
But the identification unit at Plymouth's Charles Cross station is lacking a decent range of moustaches for witnesses to choose from.
They are appealing for grey-haired men with moustaches between the ages of 30 and 55 to volunteer to appear in their photo 'line-up'.
They also need men between 25 and 60-years-old with moustaches to come forward.
And if you decide to make your moustache available to the authorities, the ID unit will pay you the princely sum of £10.
It's almost worth growing one just for the cash. Sorry ladies!
