Movie star Russell Crowe groped a string of women during a drunken night out in Canada, it has been reported.      

Crowe is alleged to have upset several women in a bar in Toronto by making lewd suggestions and trying to touch and kiss them, according to the Daily Star.

He then ripped off his shirt and started yelling abuse at the women, the paper says.     

Crowe, 40, who has a reputation as a Hollywood hellraiser, is in Toronto filming boxing movie The Cinderella Man.      

Customers at the bar have flooded the local paper, The Toronto Star, with complaints about his behaviour.      

One said: "He was hitting on anything that moved... the guy is a complete loser."
