John Lydon is hosting a new TV series about animals after his stint on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!  

The former Sex Pistol is appearing on Five after securing a £100,000 deal.

Lydon has signed new TV host deal

The 48-year-old punk is hosting one show about gorillas and another about diving with sharks. 

During his time in the Australian jungle in I'm A Celebrity, Lydon talked to lizards and was pecked by emus.  

Lydon is said to be passionate about animals - his favourite being insects.  

Shooting has already begun on the shows, and they are due to be screened later this year.
